The Alaskan Malamute Club of Ireland is the Irish Kennel Club (IKC) National Breed Club for the Alaskan Malamute.

It was founded in 2008 by the 2 foundation show kennels of the breed in Ireland. The main aim of this club is to bring together people with a similar passion & interest in our breed for the betterment of the breed, and asserts that its membership has an obligation to the Alaskan Malamute breed, to preserve the magnificence of the breed without exploiting it.

To that end the Club was established and those goals are kept in mind as we expand into each new area of involvement with our breed.

The Club's membership is actively involved in all those facets of the Breed that contribute to these goals.Please dont hesitate to contact us if we can be of any help in the training,socialisation,showing or anything else concerning this wonderful breed.Knowledge shared is a wonderful thing.

This site is not aimed soley at the show world but for all aspects of the breed for those who think like us..... their pets come first & their show team  or working team are 2nd.We are freely available to give help & advise on any aspects of the breed & that what we do not know we will endeavor to find out."
